John is a friend of mine who seem to love just about every kind or genre of music that there ever was. Quite coincidentally, he is a musical genius and the most open-minded person I’ve ever known. The link between his personality and his diverse taste for music really shows. Anyway, I was inquisitive enough to ask him why he was such a music buff. He answered that each kind and class of music is suited to a particular mood of his. It is his ultimate tool in maintaining such a pleasant disposition all the time; that’s why his headset is almost glued to his ears all year long. John had almost every kind of music gadget and instrument at home. I didn’t mention that he can play almost any type of musical instrument. Good thing he came from an affluent family. But among all the gadgets, it was his iPod he loved the most. He had every version of it – the classic iPod, iPod Nano, iPod Shuffle, iPod Touch, etc. He knows how to really use these gadgets to the fullest. I was quite surprised though that he does not know how to delete songs from ipod gadgets. So I shockingly asked him why? He said, “how can i delete songs from my ipod when music is my life? It’s almost like killing myself.” Never have I indeed seen such a person who seems to love music as much as his life. Most people I know seem to take things for granted as if they’re just changing their wardrobe, and here is a man who loves nothing but one. Although he surely is odd, he is uniquely amazing in many ways.
